*NEW* 120V 5 WATT LED Security flood lights *BRIGHT*

I have found some LED flood lights that I think are finally worth buying. They are not the single high power led bulbs, but they really get the job done IMO. These are made by Lights of America. Most of these I have seen online for -, so I did a little shopping around and found them at Costco for !! (Exact same lights). They only use 5 watts per bulb, are heat free and are compared to a 45 watt halogen. They put out just as much light as the 50 watt floods I had in the fixture before. Anybody that has a lot of lights on their property should give these a shot, they will save you some good $ on your electric bill. And they don’t attract bugs!

Is this possible to make a 12Volt PIR & FloodLight from a 240V one?

I have a solar/car battery system setup, and want to run an outside Security PIR Light using 12 Volts. Is it possible to buy a 240V Security Pir Light (fairly cheap to buy), and change it to work with a 12V supply?

I can get 12V 50watt Halogen bulbs no problem, its the PIR sensor i can’t find. Does anyone know where I could get one from or if it is possible to change the PIR circuitry to accept a 12V supply as opposed to 240V mains?

Cheers

Outdoor Lighting?

My Grandma has a porch outside her house and it has a cover made of wood with a green tarp over it. It doesnt have electricity through it, its not a solid roof, just woode frames. My grandma wants some of those round lights that hang, they are kind of made of paper ad have the light inside. Are there battery powered ones? or do we have to run a line of electricity from the plug that is outdoors, close but not exactly conveinent. also what about white lights like christmas lights strung all around the wood? will it catch fire to shrubbery on top of the tarp?

any help on outdoor lighting would be appreciated. Im good with my hands but i not great with electricity, so any advice and helpful tips please!
