How can I get my outdoor lighting circut to work again?
My outdoor christmas lights won’t turn on because of moisture so we have short circut for all outdoor lightings. When I push the reset button on the power socket it sparks and when I plug the cord into the socket it didn’t do anything. Do I need to wait for the moisture to go away before I can try this again or did the circut completely ruined. The power cord was never left in the socket before it rained. Any electrician have an answere to this? Thanks

Due to moisture your christmas lights has been rusted that possible caused of short circuit at your electricity outdoor. Even you let it dry the moisture but the rust still remains on it that gives fault in order to trip off the safety breaker.
Don’t gamble your safety on that matter, better buy new christmas lights which is weather proof.
outdoor lightings should be energy efficient, that is why we should use compact flurescent lamps or sodium vapor lamps:~”
outdoor lightings that are weatherproof would be the best thing to install outside the house .:,
